AUS Library Building Information

The new AUS Library, a stunning state-of-the-art learning center, has been designed to meet a wide range of student and faculty information needs. The building utilizes a zoned approach that provides spaces for quiet study, group study, computing and technology-enriched learning, media viewing, browsing, and instruction. Library

Library Facilities Include:

  • The technology-rich “Information Commons”, an integrated research and computing environment located on the ground and first floors. Equipment includes fast, powerful computers, scanners (A3 and A4), printers (b/w and color), and DVD burners. For more detailed information go to the Information Common's Computer and Software pages.

  • 20 group study rooms with whiteboards and data/power connections for laptops.

  • Presentation practice rooms (4) with ceiling mounted projectors and laptop hookups.

  • The Writing Center which provides one-on-one tutoring sessions to boost writing skills.

  • No-Talking zones for those who need silent study spaces.

  • A bookstore and café are located just across from the library entrance.

Also part of the library building but not run by the library are the Faculty Center, and Testing Center.
