Wireless Access

Students may use their personal laptops to connect to the Wireless network anywhere within the library.

The IC Help Desk staff are available at all times for configuration of student laptops. Please approach one of the staff for assistance.

Students who are comfortable configuring their own laptops can review the following instructions for details on enabling laptops on the university wireless network.

All laptops on the university wireless network are able to print to Pharos enabled printers with valid authentication. IC Help Desk staff are available for configuration assistance. Students may also self-install the necessary files for configuration.

The library also provides wired Ethernet ports in all tables and carrels. Students may borrow network cables by leaving their AUS ID at the IC Help Desk.

Laptop Lending Service

8 IBM T42 Thinkpads are available for student use at the Circulation Desk. Laptops are available for 3 hour loan and are renewable when possible.
