Group Study Rooms

  • Equipped with whiteboards (see circulation desk to check out markers and erasers)
  • Power and data for your laptop
  • Limited to groups of 2 or more
  • Unattended items will be removed
  • Advanced reservation only available during finals study periods and exams

 

 

Presentation Rooms

  • Located on the 1st floor
  • Equipped with 55" LED flat-screen TVs with HDMI, VGA, and AUX input
  • Equipped with whiteboards (see circulation desk to check out markers and erasers)
  • Can be reserved in advance and must be checked out at the Circulation/Reserves Desk
  • 2-hour time limit
  • Must not be left unattended
  • Unattended items will be removed

 

Media Rooms

  • Located on the 1st floor
  • Equipped with 55" LED flat-screen TVs with HDMI, VGA, and AUX input
  • Can be reserved in advance and must be checked out at the Circulation/Reserves Desk
  • 2-hour time limit
  • Two Media Rooms are designed for group viewing (4+)
  • Four Media Rooms are suitable for individual or small group viewing (2-3)
  • Unattended items will be removed

 

 

Seminar Rooms

  • Located on the 2nd floor
  • Seminar Room 2 can be booked by students, faculty or staff.
  • Seminar Room 1 is reserved for faculty or staff for their tutorials or meetings and is limited to 2 occupants (it is in a no-talking zone)
  • Seminar rooms can be checked out for 2 hours only (see Circulations/Reserves desk)

 

 

IC1 & IC2 (Computer Labs)

IC1 and IC2

  • Located on the ground floor
  • Instruction rooms with 24 & 26 computers respectively
  • Dedicated to information literacy classes, workshops, and other library-related instruction
  • Students are welcome to use these computers when rooms are not occupied

 

 

 

Recording Studio

  • Located on the first floor (in the Research Help Center)
  • Equipped with 1 iMAC Workstation, 1 headset,  and 1 microphone
  • Can be reserved in advance and must be checked out at the Circulation/Reserves Desk
  • 3 hour time limit
  • Must not be left unattended
  • User policy must be read and acknowledged upon checkout of the studio key.

Eikon/Charles Correa Station

  • Located adjacent to the Library Help Desk.
  • Eikon covers detailed information on the top companies around the World and in the Middle East. Industry news, macroeconomic reports, country statistics, stock market data as well as specialized databases such as IPO, Sukuk and Private Equity monitors are also included.
  • The Charles Correa Archive showcases the work of architect and urban planner Charles Correa. It includes over 15,000 drawings, photos, articles, and essays.
