AUS Ed Talk Series: An Author Talk with Jasmina Najjar

Spring 2024 started off with another captivating AUS Library Ed Talk by Jasmina Najjar, Senior Instructor from the Department of English. 

Jasmina’s engaging talk discussed her recently published chapter "Degrees of Separation" in Beyond Shattered Glass: Voices from the Aftermath of the Beirut Explosion. Including video clips from the book’s editor and a reading of her chapter, Jasmina provided true insight into the series of events and chance, personal encounters of that fateful day. 

Beyond Shattered Glass is an anthology of creative nonfiction that chronicles real stories of people who experienced the August 4, 2020 Beirut Port explosion and its aftermath as told by the writers who interviewed them.
