You can request books, articles, or chapters that are not available at AUS Library through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Our team will work to obtain the materials from partner libraries in the UAE and internationally.
Who Can Use the ILL Service?
ILL service is available to:
- Faculty and Staff
- Graduate Students
- Undergraduate students with approval from their professor
Senior Design students should contact the ILL team directly for support at ill@aus.edu

Copyright Considerations
For Items AUS Borrows from Other Libraries
AUS Library will only obtain a limited number of articles, chapters, or excerpts from a given journal title or book within a calendar year.
For Items We Lend To Other Libraries
If the ILL request involves making a scan or copy of a written work, the request can only be filled if:
- The requesting library has signed an ERRA license
- The request falls within the limits described in the ERRA license
