Latifa Baali, the Liaison Librarian of Arabic and Translation Studies and the Acquisition team Kusturie Moodley & Syeda Naqvi attended the 32nd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2023 in an acquisition trip of Arabic books.
The library team purchased over 100 new books including the Historical Dictionary of the Arabic Language (36 volumes) which was compiled under the direction of His highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed AlQasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates, Ruler of Sharjah and AUS founder.
The purchased publications will be added to the AUS Library Arabic Collection and will be available for borrowing starting Fall semester 2023.
