De-Stress for Exam Success
Recently the library transformed into a haven for students battling exam stress with a series of events designed to offer relaxation and fun. From November 23 to December 7, the library’s Ground Floor rotunda and other areas hosted various de-stress activities.
One highlight was the unique opportunity to check out a "Plant Study Buddy" to keep students company during their studies. Additionally, the library offered a range of activities like coloring, jigsaw puzzles, and more to help students unwind.
Special events included a "Sound Bath Experience" led by Dr. Matt on November 27, aimed at providing relaxation through an immersive sound journey. On November 28, the "Crafternoon" event, co-hosted with the Arts and Crafts Club, allowed students to indulge in creative activities like cross-stitch, origami, and painting.
The library also organized a special "Story Time" session on November 29, where Librarian Rebecca Hastie read an abridged version of "The Little Prince", providing a tranquil escape through storytelling. Lastly, the "Games Night" on November 30 offered short, fun games and a chance to socialize with peers over food truck treats.
These events, part of the library's "De-Stress for Exam Success" initiative, provided much-needed relief and a sense of community during the demanding exam period.
