We’re excited to have recently launched our AUS Library Ed Talks Series with an Author Talk by Dr. Silvia Salvadore, Department of English. She recently spoke about her lived experiences of completing the final stages of her doctoral program, as she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Dr. Silvia’s chapter, Interlude to a Degree: Autoethnographic Reflections on Dissertating After a Cancer Diagnosis, addresses her experiences and is included in the recently published book, Narratives of TESOL Professionals: Experiences Navigating the Doctoral Program

Watch her Author Talk here: AUS Library Ed Talks: Author Talk with Dr. Silvia Salvadore (Monday, October 30, 2023) (Log into iLearn to access)

If you would like to present your recently published research at a future Library Ed Talk, email Christine Furno, Engagement and Outreach Librarian at cfurno@aus.edu.
