As we celebrate International Women's Day, join us to learn about Dr. Golley's remarkable journey!
Despite excelling at my first-year Engineering courses, I walked out during my second year looking for a more fulfilling field of study. STEM education did not answer all the questions the young inquisitive learner inside me grappled with. An innate feeling that the study of the Humanities might be crucial to deal with my questions about life, people, society, and justice pushed me to seek answers elsewhere. That was the beginning of an academic journey from STEM to STEAM and a professional career marked by a conscious commitment to women, their rights, and their achievements.
