The library contributed in the campus-wide support of Fall 2026 's Mental Health Week.
Students were free to relax on the ground floor with de-stress activities including coloring, origami, and puzzles. A self-paced Art Walk around the library was promoted encouraging students to take a break and enjoy the vast collection of art currently on display throughout the library. Rotating messages promoting well-being were displayed on the ground floor and a curated print and ebook collection were displayed.
Dr. Matt Zytkoskee, Department of English, hosted a Reflective Writing Session where participants wrote for 5 minutes based on a series of writing prompts. And the University Counseling Services had a pop-up stand where Mental Health support materials were offered.
We thank everyone who joined us in the library for Mental Health Week!
