New Student Assistants Orientation

On September 12th, 2023, the AUS Library’s Access Services team organized an exciting orientation for both new and returning student assistants. The event kicked off with a warm welcome from the University Librarian and the AUL for Public Services, followed by an informative presentation where library staff introduced themselves and shared important information about the library student employment program. The event was attended by 19 student assistants who showed enthusiasm and eagerness to join the library team.

The library student employment is one of the AUS’ successful programs that aims at contributing to the students’ academic success. It provides an opportunity for student workers to enhance their communication, problem-solving and digital literacy skills through real work experience.
