This semester, AUS moved fully online, but we still celebrated our student assistants. On April 23, the AUS Library successfully hosted its annual Student Assistant Appreciation Gathering virtually. This was an opportunity to reconnect, reflect, and recognize the contributions of our student assistants who remain active members of the library’s service team.
A highlight of the event was a visit from two of our alumni, Yomna Abdalla and Yusr Mohamed, who shared their positive experiences as past library student assistants and how their time working in the library has supported their current careers in customer service, handling challenging situations, and engaging with diverse customers.
We also heard from two of our graduating students, Abdulrahman Ebeid and Snikita Moka, who shared their own experiences working with us, and from others who expressed how much they value being part of the library team supporting their peers.
Activities included Kahoot quiz with a library focus. Five winners were recognized
The AUS Library thanks all student assistants for their dedication and commitment. Your contributions make a real difference.
We look forward to welcoming you back on campus soon!
